Crossfire
Are you in years 10-12 at school?
Welcome to Crossfire!
Crossfire is a Christian youth fellowship for senior high school students where young people have the opportunity of discovering who God is and what the Bible has to say to them in a social and informal atmosphere. Crossfire offers a range of activities that contribute to knowing what Christianity is all about: there are Bible studies about God’s gift of salvation and general Christian life, there are discussion forums that address controversial issues in our present society and what stance Christianity and the Bible take upon such matters, there are challenging investigations on Biblical doctrine such as what the concept of Trinity is and last but not least, there are social outings and activities every month that aim to enhance the spirit of fellowship and form fabulous friendships amongst Crossfire members.
Everybody is welcome at Crossfire – Christians and non-Christians alike. Join us in finding out more about God’s awesome love for us and how fulfilling and purposeful our lives can be. Just rock up to our church building on Friday nights at 8:00pm and let your ears follow the noise coming from us!
If you would like to know more information about this group, please contact Keith Tang using this form.
Brought to you by the youth groups Switch, EDJ & Crossfire.
It’ll be heaps of fun, and you’ll hear some insightful teachings and have great bonding with each other.
For more information, please see your ministry group leader. The note and registration form is attached.
Who else is like Jesus? More songs have been sung to him, more paintings made of him, more books written about him than any other person in human history.
But today, he’s become not much more than a really nice guy. How is that he’s so respectable today, so effete, so impotent? Maybe it’s time to destroy the plastic Jesus we’ve manufactured and rediscover the Jesus of the New Testament.
Come along to Carols in the Park and join with the people of Epping and Carlingford for an evening of fun and festivity.
The program includes special guest artist The Idea of North.
This is one of the special events for the 2006 Missions Convention. The topic for this event is Living the Call Together: Reaching the Muslim World.
The event starts at 8:00 pm, preceded by a casual dinner at 7:00 pm (cost $5).
Relationships are the stuff of life. They bring meaning and significance. Life's great joys are nothing without someone to share them with. And sorrow and pain find release in shared tears. We know the reality of these truths but we also feel the profound complexity of relationships. As much as relationships are crucial, they are also difficult. We long to have loving families but so often they are the places of discontent. We yearn for harmonious work-places but so often they are places of competition and gossip.
KYC 2005 is all about God's view of relationships. Why they are so important. Why we get them so mixed up. And why Jesus is God's wisdom for how to live in right relationships. We're all "Looking for Relationship" in some form or other. We need to hear God's wisdom so that we can be in Christ-like relationships. KYC is a great opportunity to come away in relationship with others from your church and learn about God's wisdom for our relationships.
Year 9 members of EDJ are invited to join Crossfire. The transition is made in anticipation to new fellowship group structures in 2005, and is made early due to members' familiarity with members of Crossfire.

From September, Crossfire will be moving from its normal time and location (Epping West Primary School 9:15am to 10:30am Sundays) to a more flexible timing during the week for one to two weeks of the program per month. This will occur until the end of the year 2004.
