This document describes the composition and the functions of the English Ministry Committee.

This document lists a number of key qualities that are expected of leaders within the English Ministry. A number of biblical principles of leadership are outlined. These are then applied to the English Congregation into a number of specific practice principles.

EMD 11 Charter of the English Ministry Committee describes, in general terms, the composition and the functions of the English Ministry Committee. The purpose of this document is to answer questions that potential or new EMC members may have on how the EMC actually functions. Specifically, the actual tasks performed by the EMC and the commitment expected of EMC members are discussed.

This document forms part of the implementation plan arising from the EMC Foundations Project. It presents a general framework of principles for youth ministry within the English Congregation. A "baseline case" is presented for the simplest scenario: a child of a parent in the Congregation entering a fellowship group from Sunday School.

This document then further clarifies the roles of the Committee members and advisers of fellowship groups, and provide guidance on their continuity and development.
