We’re now in the home stretch: this is basically the second last update from me for this year.

Bible Studies

Our last Bible study, covering chapters 27 and 28, is attached.

Review

Given that November will probably be the last meeting you are going to have as a group this year, you may take some time to review how your group went during the year. You can use the attached review sheet as a suggestion. Again, suggestions on how to improve the running of the groups are welcome.

Please also take some time to pray and thank God for all the good things he has done with our groups this year.

Engage Conference

A few of us went to Engage Conference last week. I found it encouraging as we learnt from Ecclesiastes on how to live in the light of what God has planned for this world, and on what it means to love God.

Engage will on 29-31 August next year, and I would be keen to see more people go.

Extravaganza

A reminder that our Workers’ Group extravaganza will be held on 18 November 2007. It’s important that you turn up as we’ll reveal the new groups for next year (I can tell you now that there will be 5). A separate e-mail will be sent to you this week to ask for RSVPs.

Thank you to Jason Mo for helping out with any catering arrangements for this important event.

It was a very busy month. But God has been extraordinary good. Please pray for Alex, Jason, Paul, Ka-shu and me, as we will be the ones leading the groups next year.
