"Who knows but that you have come to royal position
for such a time as this?" - Esther 4:14
The book of Esther rivals any Hollywood blockbuster. It starts with an A-list party and a royal wedding. It’s full of suspense, intrigue, danger and even comedy. Yet it’s so much more than the tale of a Persian queen. It’s really about our timeless God.
For all conference details please see the EQUIP website.
Conventional wisdom tells us that nothing is certain except death and
taxes, but for most of us that is not enough. Wouldn’t you like to be
just as sure about where you stand with God? That’s what the
Thessalonians were looking for, and Paul’s letters to them can help you
find that assurance as well.
The
next couple of meetings we’ll be going through 1 & 2 Thessalonians,
which is a great book to follow onto after what we learned in
Revelation during the FATCOW retreat.
Here is the long awaited calendar for FATCOW 2009!
As you can see, we are meeting every month for bible studies, with several social activities already pencilled. Mark your calendars, and come along to this years FATCOW events!
Well...umm... not really
FATCOW is an acronym for Faithful, Available, Teachable, Christ Orientated Women.
Just a name change, but hopefully the changes will make this group FATter and more COW like.
