EMC

Over the last two meetings, the English Ministry Committee (EMC) has been reviewing its communication practices. As a result of that process, the EMC notes the communication arrangements as follows.

As mentioned earlier, lots of things were talked about during the EMC retreat held on 24-26 September 2004. These include:

  1. Logistics in the 2005 Church Camp
  2. Fellowship group structure for 2005
  3. Ways to further improve our relationship with the Deacon Board and the Chinese Congregation
  4. Ways to improve the transparency and accountability of the EMC

The EMC will be making further announcements on these over the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

In other news, a major milestone was reached in the Foundations Project, which began work in early 2003, with the launch of the English Ministry Document Repository. The repository contains some of the tangible results from the Foundations Project—a description of who we are and what we do. Again, read on for more details.
