Camps and conferences
RICE Regenerate is a movement aimed to see a generation of lay leaders in our churches revived, renewed, and re-ignited in their passion to serve our great God and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The first RICE Regenerate event will be held on 18 October 2008. Mike Raiter will be speaking.
For more information for to register, please see the RICE Regenerate website.
Our world needs the gospel of Jesus.
Our churches need leaders for the future to take this gospel to the world, both lay leaders and paid leaders.
The SCCCA Leadership Conference will be a great time for like minded people from Chinese Churches across Sydney to catch the vision of sharing the gospel, to think through what this means for the rest of our lives, and to spend time with others thinking through these issues.
It’s a conference for people who are or want to be in paid ministry positions. But it is ALSO for those who are planning to remain in lay leadership of churches.
To download a flyer or to register, see the SCCCA English website
Brought to you by the youth groups Switch, EDJ & Crossfire.
It’ll be heaps of fun, and you’ll hear some insightful teachings and have great bonding with each other.
For more information, please see your ministry group leader. The note and registration form is attached.
Who else is like Jesus? More songs have been sung to him, more paintings made of him, more books written about him than any other person in human history.
But today, he’s become not much more than a really nice guy. How is that he’s so respectable today, so effete, so impotent? Maybe it’s time to destroy the plastic Jesus we’ve manufactured and rediscover the Jesus of the New Testament.
Yes… this is our very own 2020 summit.
We will be having a forum on 25 May 2008 for everyone in the congregation. Chaired by Alex, we will be discussing various aspects on what we are currently doing in the English Ministry, what more can be done, and what things can be improved.
The draft agenda is as follows.
- Brief introduction of what we are currently doing?
- Bringing more people to Jesus:
- to whom?
- how?
- Any improvements on what we are doing?
Your attendance and contribution would be very much appreciated.
